Start with this verse and read it a couple of times.

John 7:37-38

37But at the great day, which is the last of the feast, Yeshua stood and he proclaimed and said: “If a man is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.” 38“Everyone who trusts in me, just as the scriptures have said, rivers of living water shall flow from within him.” 39But this he spoke about The Spirit, Whom those who were trusting in him were being prepared to receive; for The Spirit had not yet been given, because Yeshua had not yet been glorified.

-Now understand there is a lot going on in this verse. I want to focus on the fact that this is the 8th day of Sukkot The Great Day, which our Messiah celebrated. So I ask you why would you hold fast and guard things that go against Our Creator? The holidays most people currently celebrate were created for the worship of strange gods. I know people will argue this point, but honestly your argument is invalid because historically this statement is correct. Your opinions and reasons for keeping these holidays is you justifying why its intended purpose does not matter. We think we have the ability to change the original meaning or intent for everything because we justify to ourselves that is not why we do it or we have changed how its done, therefore its okay. Well think about this would you let someone enter your home and hang a satanic pentagram with the baphomet's head inside and let it remain because its artwork and the person who made it isn't satanic? NO you wouldn't that's crazy and sacrilege because that is a religious item used in the worship of strange gods and by you owning it, joining in, condoning, or letting it remain is exactly what everyone did so long ago when we had idols and images of strange gods in their homes At the end of the day, big picture they are religious practices. This is a hard pill to swallow, I know personally from my own trials. This is where you ask yourself who do you serve? We at some point in have to make a decision that will guide us through life.

Joshua 24:15

15But if it seem not good to you to serve the Yahuah, choose to yourselves this day whom ye will serve, whether the gods of your fathers that were on the other side of the river, or the gods of the Amorites, among whom ye dwell upon their land: but I and my house will serve the Yahuah, for he is holy.

-This verse carries so much weight and is used by tens of thousands probably everyday and yet its completely misunderstood. Go and read this whole chapter just read the verses before and after this Yahushua (Joshua) tells the people we can not have both. It is impossible there is no lukewarm. We either serve Yahuah or we serve His adversaries.

Joshua 24:14-28

14And now fear the Yahuah, and serve him in righteousness and justice; and remove the strange gods, which our fathers served beyond the river, and in Egypt; and serve the Yahuah. 16And the people answered and said, Far be it from us to forsake the Yahuah, so as to serve other gods. 17The Yahuah our Elohim, he is Elohim; he brought up us and our fathers from Egypt, and kept us in all the way wherein we walked, and among all the nations through whom we passed. 18And the Yahuah cast out the Amorite, and all the nations that inhabited the land from before us: yea, we will serve the Yahuah, for he is our Elohim. 19And Joshua said to the people, Indeed ye will not be able to serve the Yahuah, for Yahuah is holy; and he being jealous will not forgive your sins and your transgressions. 20Whensoever ye shall forsake the Yahuah and serve other gods, then he shall come upon you and afflict you, and consume you, because he has done you good. 21And the people said to Joshua, Nay, but we will serve the Yahuah. 22And Joshua said to the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves, that ye have chosen the Yahuah to serve him. 23And now take away the strange gods that are among you, and set your heart right toward the Yahuah Elohim of Israel. 24And the people said to Joshua, We will serve the Yahuah, and we will hearken to his voice. 25So Joshua made a covenant with the people on that day, and gave them a law and an ordinance in Selo before the tabernacle of the Yahuah of Israel. 26And he wrote these words in the book of the laws of Yahuah: and Joshua took a great stone, and set it up under the oak before the Yahuah. 27And Joshua said to the people, Behold, this stone shall be among you for a witness, for it has heard all the words that have been spoken to it by the Yahuah; for he has spoken to you this day; and this stone shall be among you for a witness in the last days, whenever ye shall deal falsely with the Yahuah my Elohim. 28And Joshua dismissed the people, and they went every man to his place.

But what does this have to do with His feast days?

EVERYTHING.

I SAY AGAIN EVERYTHING.

The observance of the Feast of Tabernacles is recorded in Scripture

Exodus 23:16-17

14Keep ye a feast to me three times in the year. 15Take heed to keep the feast of unleavened bread: seven days ye shall eat unleavened bread, as I charged thee at the season of the month of new corn, for in it thou camest out of Egypt: thou shalt not appear before me empty. 16And thou shalt keep the feast of the harvest of first-fruits of thy labours, whatsoever thou shalt have sown in thy field, and the feast of completion at the end of the year in the gathering in of thy fruits out of thy field. 17Three times in the year shall all thy males appear before the Yahuah thy Elohim.

Exodus 34:21-24

21Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: there shall be rest in seed-time and harvest. 22And thou shalt keep to me the feast of weeks, the beginning of wheat-harvest; and the feast of ingathering in the middle of the year. 23Three times in the year shall every male of thine appear before the Yahuah the Elohim of Israel. 24For when I shall have cast out the nations before thy face, and shall have enlarged thy coasts, no one shall desire thy land, whenever thou mayest go up to appear before the Yahuah thy Elohim, three times in the year.

Leviticus 23:33-44

33And the Yahuah spoke to Moses, saying, 34Speak to the children of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month, there shall be a feast of tabernacles seven days to the Yahuah. 35And on the first day shall be a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work. 36Seven days shall ye offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Yahuah, and the eighth-day shall be a holy convocation to you; and ye shall offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Yahuah: it is a time of release, ye shall do no servile work. 37These are the feasts to the Yahuah, which ye shall call holy convocations, to offer burnt-offerings to the Yahuah, whole-burnt-offerings and their meat-offerings, and their drink-offerings, that for each day on its day: 38besides the sabbaths of the Yahuah, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides your free-will-offerings, which ye shall give to the Yahuah. 39And on the fifteenth day of this seventh month, when ye shall have completely gathered in the fruits of the earth, ye shall keep a feast to the Yahuah seven days; on the first day there shall be a rest, and on the eighth day a rest. 40And on the first day ye shall take goodly fruit of trees, and branches of palm trees, and thick boughs of trees, and willows, and branches of osiers from the brook, to rejoice before the Yahuah your Elohim seven days in the year. 41It is a perpetual statute for your generations: in the seventh month ye shall keep it. 42Seven days ye shall dwell in tabernacles: every native in Israel shall dwell in tents, 43that your posterity may see, that I made the children of Israel to dwell in tents, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Yahuah your Elohim. 44And Moses recounted the feasts of the Yahuah to the children of Israel.

Deuteronomy 16:13-17

13Thou shalt keep for thyself the feast of tabernacles seven days, when thou gatherest in thy produce from thy corn-floor and thy wine-press. 14And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow that is in thy cities. 15Seven days shalt thou keep a feast to the Yahuah thy Elohim in the place which the Yahuah thy Elohim shall choose for himself; and if the Yahuah thy Elohim shall bless thee in all thy fruits, and in every work of thy hands, then thou shalt rejoice. 16Three times in the year shall all thy males appear before the Yahuah thy Elohim in the place which the Yahuah shall choose in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: thou shalt not appear before the Yahuah thy Elohim empty. 17Each one according to his ability, according to the blessing of the Yahuah thy Elohim which he has given thee.

2 Chronicles 8:12-13

12Then Solomon offered up to the Yahuah whole-burnt-offerings on the altar which he had built to the Yahuah before the temple, 13according to the daily rate, to offer up sacrifices according to the commandments of Moses, on the sabbaths, and at the new moons, and at the feasts, three times in the year, at the feast of unleavened bread, and at the feast of weeks, and at the feast of tabernacles.

Ezra 3:4-5

4And they kept the feast of tabernacles, according to that which was written, and offered whole-burnt-offerings daily in number according to the ordinance, the exact daily rate. 5And after this the perpetual whole-burnt-offering, and offering for the season of new moon, and for all the hallowed feasts to the Yahuah, and for every one that offered a free-will-offering to the Yahuah.

Nehemiah 8:13-18

13And on the second day the heads of families assembled with all the people, also the priests and Levites, to Esdras the scribe, to attend to all the words of the Torah. 14And they found written in the Torah which the Yahuah commanded Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths, in the feast in the seventh month: 15and that they should sound with trumpets in all their cities, and in Jerusalem. And Esdras said, Go forth to the mountain, and bring branches of olive, and branches of cypress trees, and branches of myrtle, and branches of palm trees, and branches of every thick tree, to make booths, according to that which was written. 16And the people went forth, and brought them, and made booths for themselves, each one upon his roof, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of Elohim, and in the streets of the city, and as far as the gate of Ephraim. 17And all the congregation who had returned from the captivity, made booths, and dwelt in booths: for the children of Israel had not done so from the days of Joshua the son of Naue until that day: and there was great joy. 18And Esdras read in the book of the Torah of Elohim daily, from the first day even to the last day: and they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day a solemn assembly, according to the ordinance.

John 7

1After these things, Yeshua was walking in Galilee, for he did not want to walk in Judea, because the Judeans were seeking to kill him. 2And the Jewish (not a Jewish feast which if you read the previous verses you will see this is a command of The Most High to all His Children) Feast of Tabernacles was near. 3And his brothers said to Yeshua: “Remove yourself from here and go to Judea, that your disciples may see the works that you do.” 4“For no man does anything in secret and wants it done openly. If you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.” 5For his brothers also did not believe in Yeshua. 6Yeshua said to them: “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.” 7“The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I am testifying about it, that its servants are evil.” 8“You go up to this feast; I am not going up now to this feast, because my time is not yet finished.” 9He said these things and he remained in Galilee. 10But when his brothers went up to the feast, then he also went up, not openly, but as secretly. 11But the Judeans were seeking him in the feast and they were saying, “Where is he?” 12And there was much murmuring in the crowd because of him, for there were those who said, “He is good”, and others were saying, “No, but he deceives the people.” 13But no man spoke openly about him, for fear of the Judeans. 14But when the midpoint of the feast had arrived, Yeshua came up to The Temple and he taught. 15And the Judeans were astonished and were saying, “How does this man know the scrolls, having not learned?” 16Yeshua answered and said: “My teaching is not Mine, but from him who sent Me.” 17“Whoever is willing to do his will understands my teaching, whether it is from Elohim or whether I speak for my own pleasure.” 18“Whoever speaks for the pleasure of his own mind is seeking glory for himself, but he who seeks glory for the one who sent him is faithful and there is no evil in his heart.” 19“Was it not Moses who gave you The Written Law? Yet no one among you keeps The Written Law.” 20“Why are you seeking to kill me?” The crowds answered and were saying, “A demon is in you. Who is seeking to kill you?” 21Yeshua answered and said to them, “I have done one work, and all of you are astonished.” 22“For this reason Moses gave you circumcision, not that it is from Moses but because it is from the forefathers, and you circumcise a son on the Sabbath.” 23“And if a son is circumcised on the Sabbath day because The Written Law of Moses (Torah) should not be broken, do you complain about me because I have completely healed a man on the Sabbath day?” 24“Do not judge with partiality, but judge just judgment.” 25And the men from Jerusalem were saying, “Is This not he whom they seek to kill?” 26“And behold, he speaks openly and they say nothing to him. Is it possible the Elders know that This is The Messiah?” 27“But we know from where This One is. When The Messiah comes, no one will know from where he is.” 28And Yeshua lifted up his voice as he taught in The Temple and he said, “You know me and from where I am, and I have not come of my own pleasure, but he who has sent me is true, whom you do not know.” 29“But I do know him, because I am from unity with him, and he has sent Me.” 30And they sought to seize him, and no man laid hands on him, because his hour had not yet come. 31But many from the crowds trusted in him and they were saying, “When The Messiah comes, will he do more miracles than these which This One has done?” 32And the Pharisees heard the crowds speaking these things about him and they and the Chief Priests sent guards to seize him. 33And Yeshua said, “A little longer I am with you, and I will go join him who has sent Me.” 34“And you will seek me and you will not find me, and wherever I am, you cannot come.” 35The Judeans were saying among themselves, “Where is This Man prepared to go that we cannot be? Is He prepared to go teach the pagans?” 36“What is this statement that he spoke?: 'You will seek me and will not find me, and wherever I am, you are not able to come?' “ 37But at the great day, which is the last of the feast, Yeshua stood and he proclaimed and said: “If a man is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.” 38“Everyone who trusts in me, just as the scriptures have said, rivers of living water shall flow from within him.” 39But this he spoke about The Spirit, Whom those who were trusting in him were being prepared to receive; for The Spirit had not yet been given, because Yeshua had not yet been glorified. 40But many from the crowds who heard his words were saying, “This is truly The Prophet.” 41Others were saying, “This One is The Messiah.” Others were saying, “Can The Messiah come from Galilee?” 42“Has not the scripture said that The Messiah is coming from the seed of David and from Bethlehem, the village of David?” 43And there was division among the crowd because of him. 44And there were people among them who wanted to seize him, but no man put hands on him. 45And those guards came to the Chief Priests, and the Pharisees and the Priests said to them, “Why have you not brought him?” 46The guards were saying to them, “Never in this way has a man spoken as This Man speaks.” 47The Pharisees were saying to them, “Have you also been deceived?” 48“Have men of the leaders or of the Pharisees trusted in him?” 49“However, this people who do not know The Torah are damned.” 50Nicodemus said to them (he is one of them who had come to Yeshua at night): 51“Does our Torah condemn a man unless one shall hear him first and know what he has done?” 52They answered and said to him, “Are you also from Galilee? Search and see that a Prophet will not arise from Galilee.” 53Then everyone went to his house.

-Here we can see that this is another important Feast to Our Creator, and obviously was important to Yeshua Ha Mashiach. Through out the generations of man, forever and in the book of Zechariah this feast will be celebrated in Heaven with our Creator and Mashiach.

Zechariah 14:16-21

16And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall be left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem, shall even come up every year to worship the king, the Yahuah Almighty, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. 17And it shall come to pass, that whosoever of all the families of the earth shall not come up to Jerusalem to worship the king, the Yahuah Almighty, even these shall be added to the others. 18And if the family of Egypt shall not go up, nor come; then upon them shall be the overthrow with which Yahuah shall smite all the nations, whichever of them shall not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 19This shall be the sin of Egypt, and the sin of all the nations, whosoever shall not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 20In that day there shall be upon the bridle of every horse Holiness to the Yahuah El Shaddai; and the caldrons in the house of the Yahuah shall be as bowls before the altar. 21And every pot in Jerusalem and in Juda shall be holy to the Yahuah Almighty: and all that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and shall seethe meat in them: and in that day there shall be no more the Chananite in the house of the Yahuah El Shaddai.

I could go on and no with a list a reasons why you should celebrate The Most High's Feast but ill let His Scripture guide you. I pray this finds you and works it way into your heart, to obey Our Creator and His Will.

I end with this If you do claim to serve Yahuah Tzavaot

Why do you fight against His Word, His Feasts and His people?
